Poppet and Doodle is run by me Ruth McAuliffe from my studio in Bedfordshire. With over 10 years design experience in the fashion industry.
I have always loved print and pattern and especially anything hand painted. After having my first child, with the need for more flexability with working I decided to venture into a new avenue of design and creativity and so Poppet & Doodle was born. I create prints, cards and handpainted original pieces, with a folk, Bohemian style using bold, joyful colours. They are from hand paintings and designs I have created using acrylic gouache paints.
I also run successful workshops to spread the joy of what I love and hope to encourage others to get creative suitable for children and adults.
